וְאַתָּ֨ה בֶן אָדָ֜ם קַח לְךָ֣ חֶ֣רֶב חַדָּ֗ה תַּ֤עַר הַגַּלָּבִים֙ תִּקָּחֶ֣נָּה לָּ֔ךְ וְהַעֲבַרְתָּ֥ עַל רֹאשְׁךָ֖ וְעַל זְקָנֶ֑ךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ לְךָ֛ מֹאזְנֵ֥י מִשְׁקָ֖ל וְחִלַּקְתָּֽם

And you, son of man, take you a sharp knife, take you a barber's razor, and cause to pass upon your head and upon your beard: then take you balances to weigh, and divide the .

שְׁלִשִׁ֗ית בָּא֤וּר תַּבְעִיר֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעִ֔יר כִּמְלֹ֖את יְמֵ֣י הַמָּצ֑וֹר וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֣ אֶת הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֗ית תַּכֶּ֤ה בַחֶ֨רֶב֙ סְבִ֣יבוֹתֶ֔יהָ וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ תִּזְרֶ֣ה לָר֔וּחַ וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם

You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, smite about it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ מִשָּׁ֖ם מְעַ֣ט בְּמִסְפָּ֑ר וְצַרְתָּ֥ אוֹתָ֖ם בִּכְנָפֶֽיךָ

You shall also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in your skirts.

וּמֵהֶם֙ ע֣וֹד תִּקָּ֔ח וְהִשְׁלַכְתָּ֤ אוֹתָם֙ אֶל תּ֣וֹךְ הָאֵ֔שׁ וְשָׂרַפְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם בָּאֵ֑שׁ מִמֶּ֥נּוּ תֵצֵא אֵ֖שׁ אֶל כָּל בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל

Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֔ה זֹ֚את יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם בְּת֥וֹךְ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם שַׂמְתִּ֑יהָ וּסְבִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָ אֲרָצֽוֹת

Thus says YHWH YHWH; This Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries round about her.

וַתֶּ֨מֶר אֶת מִשְׁפָּטַ֤י לְרִשְׁעָה֙ מִן הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְאֶ֨ת חֻקּוֹתַ֔י מִן הָאֲרָצ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתֶ֑יהָ כִּ֤י בְמִשְׁפָּטַי֙ מָאָ֔סוּ וְחֻקּוֹתַ֖י לֹא הָלְכ֥וּ בָהֶֽם

And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

לָכֵ֞ן כֹּֽה אָמַ֣ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה יַ֤עַן הֲמָנְכֶם֙ מִן הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֔ם בְּחֻקּוֹתַי֙ לֹ֣א הֲלַכְתֶּ֔ם וְאֶת מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י לֹ֣א עֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם וּֽכְמִשְׁפְּטֵ֧י הַגּוֹיִ֛ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם לֹ֥א עֲשִׂיתֶֽם

Therefore thus says YHWH YHWH; Because you multiplied more than the nations that round about you, have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that round about you;

לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י עָלַ֖יִךְ גַּם אָ֑נִי וְעָשִׂ֧יתִי בְתוֹכֵ֛ךְ מִשְׁפָּטִ֖ים לְעֵינֵ֥י הַגּוֹיִֽם

Therefore thus says YHWH YHWH; Behold, I, even I, against you, and will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.

וְעָשִׂ֣יתִי בָ֗ךְ אֵ֚ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא עָשִׂ֔יתִי וְאֵ֛ת אֲשֶֽׁר לֹֽא אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה כָמֹ֖הוּ ע֑וֹד יַ֖עַן כָּל תּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ

And I will do in you that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all your abominations.

לָכֵ֗ן אָב֞וֹת יֹאכְל֤וּ בָנִים֙ בְּתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וּבָנִ֖ים יֹאכְל֣וּ אֲבוֹתָ֑ם וְעָשִׂ֤יתִי בָךְ֙ שְׁפָטִ֔ים וְזֵרִיתִ֥י אֶת כָּל שְׁאֵרִיתֵ֖ךְ לְכָל רֽוּחַ

Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of you, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and the whole remnant of you will I scatter into all the winds.

לָכֵ֣ן חַי אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ אִם לֹ֗א יַ֚עַן אֶת מִקְדָּשִׁ֣י טִמֵּ֔את בְּכָל שִׁקּוּצַ֖יִךְ וּבְכָל תּוֹעֲבֹתָ֑יִךְ וְגַם אֲנִ֤י אֶגְרַע֙ וְלֹא תָח֣וֹס עֵינִ֔י וְגַם אֲנִ֖י לֹ֥א אֶחְמֽוֹל

Wherefore, I live, says YHWH YHWH; Surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore will I also diminish ; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

שְׁלִשִׁתֵ֞יךְ בַּדֶּ֣בֶר יָמ֗וּתוּ וּבָֽרָעָב֙ יִכְל֣וּ בְתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וְהַ֨שְּׁלִשִׁ֔ית בַּחֶ֖רֶב יִפְּל֣וּ סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ וְהַשְּׁלִישִׁית֙ לְכָל ר֣וּחַ אֱזָרֶ֔ה וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם

A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

וְכָלָ֣ה אַפִּ֗י וַהֲנִחוֹתִ֧י חֲמָתִ֛י בָּ֖ם וְהִנֶּחָ֑מְתִּי וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּי אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה דִּבַּ֨רְתִּי֙ בְּקִנְאָתִ֔י בְּכַלּוֹתִ֥י חֲמָתִ֖י בָּֽם

Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I YHWH have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

וְאֶתְּנֵךְ֙ לְחָרְבָּ֣ה וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה בַּגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל עוֹבֵֽר

Moreover I will make you waste, and a reproach among the nations that round about you, in the sight of all that pass by.

וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה חֶרְפָּ֤ה וּגְדוּפָה֙ מוּסָ֣ר וּמְשַׁמָּ֔ה לַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ בַּעֲשׂוֹתִי֩ בָ֨ךְ שְׁפָטִ֜ים בְּאַ֤ף וּבְחֵמָה֙ וּבְתֹכְח֣וֹת חֵמָ֔ה אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי

So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment to the nations that round about you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I YHWH have spoken .

בְּֽשַׁלְּחִ֡י אֶת חִצֵּי֩ הָרָעָ֨ב הָרָעִ֤ים בָּהֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָי֣וּ לְמַשְׁחִ֔ית אֲשֶׁר אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח אוֹתָ֖ם לְשַֽׁחֶתְכֶ֑ם וְרָעָב֙ אֹסֵ֣ף עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם וְשָׁבַרְתִּ֥י לָכֶ֖ם מַטֵּה לָֽחֶם

When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for destruction, which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣י עֲ֠לֵיכֶם רָעָ֞ב וְחַיָּ֤ה רָעָה֙ וְשִׁכְּלֻ֔ךְ וְדֶ֥בֶר וָדָ֖ם יַעֲבָר בָּ֑ךְ וְחֶ֨רֶב֙ אָבִ֣יא עָלַ֔יִךְ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי

So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave you; and pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword upon you. I YHWH have spoken .
