Theme

Psalms 96 (13 verses in the MT) opens: O sing to YHWH a new song: sing to YHWH, all the earth. The middle of the chapter continues: Give to YHWH, O you kindreds of the people, give to YHWH glory and strength. It closes: Before YHWH: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
