2 Chronicles 14 (14 verses in the MT) opens: And Asa did good and right in the eyes of YHWH his God: The middle of the chapter continues: And there came out against them Zerah the Ethiopian with an host of a thousand thousand, and three hundred chariots; and came to Mareshah. It closes: They smote also the tents of cattle, and carried away sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem.

Therefore he said to Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about walls, and towers, gates, and bars, the land yet before us; because we have sought YHWH our God, we have sought , and he has given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
