Malachi

Malachi 1 — מלאכי 1

Theme. Malachi 1 (14 verses in the MT) opens: The burden of the word of YHWH to Israel by Malachi. The middle of the chapter continues: And if you offer the blind for sacrifice, not evil? and if you offer the lame and sick, not evil? offer it now to your governor; will he be pleased with you, or accept your person? says YHWH of hosts.
